New Armor

Below are Campaign-specific pieces of armor.

Handheld Shields

Mimicing archaic riot shields of ancient human history, these shields are typically held in one hand and produce a barrier of energy that protects the wearer from harm by absorbing incoming attacks. Many advanced Talents exist for optimizing personal handheld shields in combat.

Handheld Personal Shield Technical Specialist

The follow are modifications that can be made to personal handheld shields, in addition to other existing modifications.

AntiGravity Field (1 EP) (3,000c): This modification allows the equipment bonus granted by the shield to also apply to the wielder’s Fortitude and Will Defenses against Gravity Maneuvers. If the wielder has Interpose or a similar Talent, it can be used to negate Gravity Maneuvers as well.

ElectroMagnetic Field (1 EP) (3,000c): This modification allows the equipment bonus granted by the shield to also apply to the wielder’s Fortitude and Will Defenses against Gadget Maneuvers. If the wielder has Interpose or a similar Talent, it can be used to negate Gadget Maneuvers as well.

Goliath Weapons

As most Goliaths are Huge size, Large weapons are considered Light weapons, Huge weapons are One-Handed weapons, and Gargantuan weapons are considered Two-Handed weapons. Most Goliaths can comfortably hold 2 Emplacement Points worth of weapons. One Handed weapons are 1 EP each while Two-Handed weapons are 2 EP each. Easy conversion formula for Goliath-scale weaponry is to find the base weapon you want, add 2 dice and a x2 multiplier to damage.

Advanced Melee Weapons

Vibroaxe, Goliath
Requires a single energy cell to operate.

Vibrobayonet, Goliath
Attaching to Rifles that do not have folded stocks, this weapon allows the Goliath to threaten in melee. Vibrobayonets require their own energy cell to operate.

Vibroblade, Double Goliath
A Goliath armed with this weapon can make two attacks, one with each side of the weapon, as a Full Round Action at a -10 penalty.

Vibrorapier, Goliath
These weapons are completely silent and require two energy cells to operate.

Vibrosaw, Goliath
Requires two energy cells to operate. This weapon ignores 5 points of damage reduction.

Vibrosword, Goliath
Requires a single energy cell to operate.

Pistol Weapons

Blaster, Suprepeating Goliath
Retractable stock which can be extended to brace. Auto Fire only. 50 shots per power pack.

Blaster Pistol, Goliath
Accurate. Fires 100 shots per power pack.

Blaster Pistol, Heavy Goliath
Inaccurate. Fires 50 shots per power pack.

Ion Pistol, Goliath
Deals Energy (Ion) damage, 30 shots per power pack.

Sonic Pistol, Goliath
Deals Energy (Sonic) damage, fires 100 shots per power pack. Feats and Talents used to negate or reduce damage suffer a -5 activation penalty (includes Gravity/Gadget/Combat Maneuvers, Handheld Shield Talents, etc).

Stun Pistol, Goliath
Used mostly for large scale urban pacification, deals only stun damage. Can make attacks up to Medium Range (most Stun has a range of Close). Fires 50 shots per power pack.

Rifles

Concussion Rifle, Goliath
If your attack roll is greater than the target’s Fortitude Defense, the target is knocked prone in addition to damage dealt. 25 shots per power pack.

Blaster Carbine, Goliath
Inaccurate. Comes with a folding stock. Can make attack of opportunities. 50 shots per power pack.

Blaster Carbine, Repeating Goliath
Inaccurate. Makes Area of Effect attacks. 30 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Goliath
50 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Assault Goliath
Accurate. Fires 50 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Heavy Goliath
Inaccurate. 30 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Heavy Assault Goliath
Inaccurate. Deals an additional 1d10x2 damage with a successful critical hit. 50 shots per power pack.

Accurate. Requires Aiming or suffer a -5 penalty to hit. Cannot have the Rapid Recycler modification. 10 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Sporting Goliath
Accurate. 100 shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Targeting Goliath
Accurate. Requires a Full Round Action to assemble. Deals 4d10x2 damage if Aimed. Cannot be used with a folding stock. 50 Shots per power pack.

Blaster Rifle, Variable Goliath
500 shots per power pack. Can use x5 ammo to deal 3d10x2 damage. Can use x10 ammo to deal 4d10x2 damage. Switching Modes is a Swift Action.

Ion Carbine, Goliath
Ion damage only. Inaccurate. 30 Shots per power pack.

Ion Rifle, Goliath
Deals Ion Damage only. 20 shots per power pack.

Micro Torpedo Launcher, Goliath
Area of Effect weapon. Fires Micro Missiles (as standard missiles with -2 dice of damage). Can be mounted on a Rifle (1 EP). Holds 4 micro missiles per cannister.

Snare Rifle, Goliath
Grabs or Grapples targets. Requires a DC 15 Acrobatics check or a DC 35 Strength Check to break free). Deals Stun damage on a successful hit. Allows the Pilot to use Pin and Trip feats at range. Each Cartridge holds 5 shots.

Sonic Rifle, Goliath
Deals Energy (Sonic) damage, fires 50 shots per power pack. Feats and Talents used to negate or reduce damage suffer a -5 activation penalty (includes Gravity/Gadget/Combat Maneuvers, Handheld Shield Talents, etc).
